Broughton's Burning Sky

from £20.00

Right, so picture this: I'm stumbling out of the Plough and Harrow, a bit merry from a cheeky pint or two (strictly for inspiration, of course!), and I'm heading towards the bus stop. It's that magical time of day when the sun's doing its disappearing act, and the sky's putting on a show that'd make even Van Gogh jealous.

And there it was, laid out in front of me like a painter's palette. Broughton, bathed in this golden, almost fiery light. The clouds were doing their dramatic thing, all swirling and brooding, but with this incredible orange glow peeking through. It was like the sky was having a bit of an identity crisis, not sure whether to go full-on storm or just bask in the sunset vibes.

The houses, all quaint and huddled together, were catching the light like little beacons. And that field in the foreground? Forget your fancy filters, it was practically glowing. Honestly, it was one of those moments where you just have to stop and gawk. Luckily, I had my trusty Canon 5D Mark III with me, so I could capture the scene in all its glory.

Sometimes, the best shots just happen when you least expect them. It's like the universe knows you've just had a good pint and decides to throw in a free light show. Cheers to that!
